Author: Nate Latessa, President

Cleveland, Ohio, March 8, 2016 – Heureka Software, announced today that it has released Version 2.4 of Interrogate. Interrogate allows organizations to find unstructured and semi-structured dark data that exists in their organizations endpoint computers and servers and works on Windows, Linux and Macintosh operating systems. In addition to the current search functionality of keywords (including Boolean), dates, file owner, file name and hash values, version 2.4 adds automatic pattern matching for social security numbers and credit cards and tracks and identifies deleted files. Additionally, Interrogate has a new risk score feature which further enhances value and functionality.

“Extending our search capability to include pattern matching and risk scoring is a major achievement,” says Ron Copfer, Founder and CEO of Heureka. “Our broader search capability further enhances our increased value to customers. Interrogate gives users the capability to identify PII data across an entire organization in a very short amount of time.”

Nate Latessa, COO added, “Version 2.4 helps our clients achieve in seconds what traditionally may have taken weeks or months to do. Quickly identifying PII data spread across an enterprise is a critical feature for clients dealing with compliance or data governance issues. Risk scoring allows the user to quickly sort and view the highest potential risk within a search. Best of all, risk scores are automated and presented as part of every search.”

Copfer continued: “Our naturally distributed architecture requires minimal server infrastructure and delivers near real-time data and analytics from all computers and servers. HIP has flexible installation options including cloud-based, SaaS or enterprise deployment.”

HIP is the world’s first platform that unifies the functions of the File Analysis (FA), Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), Electronic Data Discovery (EDD), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Data Classification Services (DCS), Enterprise Search (ES) and Governance and Risk & Compliance (GRC) markets across all organizational endpoints through one central pane of glass.
